For a long time, the Libertarian Party of California didn’t publish a regular newsletter. Now there are two — and they serve different purposes.
The Beacon is the official monthly newsletter of the Libertarian Party of California, sharing formal updates, party business, and official communications.
Bee Libertarian is a weekly, informal publication focused on libertarian ideas, timely news, and discussion relevant to California — a conversational space designed to keep people engaged between official announcements.
The goal of Bee Libertarian is simple:
Encourage people to become dues-paying members of the Libertarian Party
Share weekly updates and discussion on libertarian issues affecting California
Provide a place for community news, announcements, and ideas
Connect readers with both state and national Libertarian efforts
This newsletter is an independent, volunteer-run project created to strengthen communication, grow membership, and keep libertarian ideas visible and active across California.
