Thompson moves to remove the Freemason item from the Agenda. Thompson thinks it is inappropriate. Martin claims that Freemasonry should be disclosed as a conflict of interest. He goes on at length on this point, because he claims that the Masons are a secretive organization. Roll call on removing the resolution condemning freemasonry from the agenda. Financial report: August Collected 59,000. Lost $38,000, Says there is restricted cash from team Kennedy for team Kennedy liabilities. Speaker is concerned about the burn rate on the money. Treasurer is asked to break down how we are spending money.
Executive Director Dasbach reports Mr. Gargan is exiting. Zoho took down LNC email system for two weeks because someone complained. Direct mail first mailing went to the wrong list. It performed poorly. The second direct mail is going out soon. We are going to a new system for mailing press releases. Dasbach says this worked well in Indiana. Contract for next National Convention is being prepared. Martin criticizes tone of press releases. He asks the current acquisition cost per new member. Dasbach says it is hard to tell because there are multiple sources and few new members. Martin keeps interrupting. There was a discussion of data security. Regional Representatives can ask their state chairs for lists. Martin keeps interrupting.
Martin objects to executive session. He noted that there are associates of the Luchini New Mexico group who would enter the executive session as LNC members. Objection was not seconded. They went to executive session. While they were away, members of the audience discussed members of a board from a meeting.
We reach a motion for candidate support. There is a motion to spend $10,000 each for the support of three candidates. Martin claims that alternates are allowed to speak after the regional rep has spoken. Chair rules they can not. Appeal of the ruling of the chair by Martin. Chair explains. FEC Settlement motion Knebel: Complaint was brought about an FEC filing. We were subject oto a fine If we accept the offer, we get a 50% discount. If we reject the settlement we can dispute the fine, but will miss the discount. Martin proposes to negotiate first. He claims there is no likelihood of the FEC trying to collect soon. Feintech notes FEC has no quorum. This will be paid from the RFK Funds. The issue is that the JFC did not forward the information to the LNC in a timely way.
Feintech: Amendment to zero dollars and training, with a dollar limit of $2500. Yes; Longstreth, Feintech Vote is 2-15. it fails.

Special Investigatory Committee: Moved by chair and then seconded. Complaints by board members and members. Was there a violation of bylaws and policy manual, and make recommendations? Three LNC members and two non-members. Complaint that Martin playing his musical instrument makes it impossible to hear what Martin is saying. Martin denounces the motion. He offers an amendment to investigate everyone. There is a roll call on calling the question Abstain – Shaw. Vote is 16-0-2.

We advance to the New Hampshire issue. Rachel Danner speaks as the Granite State Liberty Party. We put Oliver and Vallee on the ballot. They formed, had a convention of people who support us, elected a board, applied for affiliation, and look forward to running many candidates. We’ve collected over 10,000 signatures. None of our members are Democrats or Republicans. Our convention had 20-30 attendees. We went out of our way not to invite Democrats or Republicans. Our members are the attendees and a few other.
Feintech asked how convention members were confirmed as being residents. New Hampshire does not let people register as Libertarians. GSLP has plans for recruiting members and raising money. Villee is on the ballot for Governor. Web site is under construction. Filing of PACs is under way.
Matthew Strong speaks for the new LPNH group. He talks about himself. Goes to questions. Said nothing about the LPNH group and why it should be affiliated. Thompson: How many are registered Republicans. Strong did not know. Thompson explained there were at least 2. We had an online convention. About 12 attendees. There is a proposal for a national party member convention. We support the general idea. How members do you have other than petition signers-none. Is this a new group? Strong says yes. Says he was unaware of GSLP. Strong thinks that no GLSP members attended the LPNH convention. Would you support a national member convention to replace both affiliates. We have a path for expanding the party membership. He would run for chair at the national party convention. We have no social media presence. Feintech – GSLP has a seasoning requirement. LPNH says it does not. What checks did you do to see that members are not D or R member? Thompson points out known Republicans in the group. Feintech proposes two groups both did informal checks as to voter registration.
Hannoush means: Ballot will be one, the other, or NOTA. Shaw: Moves to postpone to the next meeting, the October 11 meeting. Shaw: Formation of both groups is problematic. Neither convention was widely noticed. Feintech supports. Complains that they did not credential members. The full state convention is the right answer. Thompson: we should not kick the stone down the road. People are looking for a way to get to the ‘right’ answer. Someone: We have heard from no one complaining that they did not know about the organizing groups. Someone speaks up for properly noticed conventions. Someone says that we are in no hurry.
