Treasurer Bill Redpath has filed the LNC Treasurer’s Report covering March. The supporting staff document is available here as a file. We quote his analysis:
Attached please find the Libertarian National Committee, Inc. financial statements, as of March 31, 2025
Due to Joint Fundraising Committee (JFC) impacts on the financial statements on Pages 5, 9 & 10 (because of Cash that is included that will be expended on liabilities of the Kennedy Victory Fund), it is best to focus on the balance sheet data at the bottom of Page 3. Once all JFC-raised funds have been expended by the LNC, there will be no difference between the Page 3 balance sheet and the more detailed balance sheet.
Cash was at $223,560, while various liabilities summed to $108,381.
The March 2025 income statement is summarized on Page 4, with greater income statement detail on Pages 6, 7 & 8. Revenue totaled $84,486, but that included $24,159 in Commissions Revenue from the Joint Fundraising Committee. JFC Commissions revenue was down from $57,485 in January and $24,286 in February. It is my current understanding that that source of revenue will end within the next couple months.
General Fundraising revenue was $59,937, below the budgeted amount of $75,000.
Year-to-Date Total Revenue is $286,009, below the budgeted amount of $345,000.
Expenses totaled $75,569, slightly above the budgeted amount of $74,570. YTD expenses total $253,378, exceeding a budgeted amount of $238,210.
Net Income in March was $8,917, and YTD Net Income was $32,631. Both figures are well below budgeted amounts.
I will have updated financial information at the in person LNC meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday-Sunday, May 17-18.
FEC reports have been filed on a timely basis by Paula Edwards, the LNC’s FEC consultant, and all other FEC inquires have been or will be answered on a timely basis.
