Governing in the Shadows
On July 11th, the Libertarian Party Executive Committee voted to establish a JFC with Kennedy.

On July 11th, the LNC Executive Committee voted to jump into bed with Kennedy. McArdle moved the session into a secretive “Executive Session” to hide the fine print from the membership. Secretary Caryn Ann Harlos famously refused to attend, stating she believed the move was a direct violation of the Bylaws and refused to be complicit in a deal “an average member” wasn’t allowed to see.

WITHOUT OBJECTION, Chair McArdle moved to go into Executive Session to discuss the details of creating a joint fund-raising committee with the Robert F. Kennedy Jr campaign with the caveat that some additional details about the joint-fundraising committee will be made public after the agreement is signed and the committee is created.

Ater they came back from Executive Session, Chair McArdle moved to authorize the LNC to enter the JFC agreement with Kennedy.

“This is still clearly something we need to do. This makes us money. We are broke. This isn’t an endorsement. It’s a deal.” Adam Haman-Libertarian National Committee Representative July 2024

Sources indicate that Haman was at the Libertarian Party of Colorado meeting where the Colorado party decided to endorse RFK Jr. although there is no indication that he was in any way behind the efforts. He was the representative to the Libertarian National Committee representing a region that included the state of Colorado.

On July 13th, McArdle signed the joint fundraising agreement with Team Kennedy.

By July 19th, the mask was off. McArdle was on Twitter openly touting the JFC and her efforts to assist Donald Trump’s path to victory.

It’s nice to see more people realizing what we all we’re saying in 2018, that McArdle is a fraud who trashed great Ls in order to gain positions of power to rob the party of dwindling funds.

    Any idea why Redpath abstained?

Yes. Too many LNC members abstain to indicate their disgust. It’s practice that should stop. He was opposed and I wish he just voted no.

I’m proud of no vote and my opposition to the corrupt chair.
