Clearly, when the Agenda item is reached, a member should rise and ask that the chair hears his objection to consideration at whichever moment it would be in order.

I have zero issues with the masons.
For those of you unaware of the issue, I am advised that there is a group of Masons, mostly in the US, the Co-Masons, that admits women as members.
In Colorado at least there is a sister organization. I can’t claim too much knowledge as I am not a mason, but I think it is a parallel equal organization.
It is hysterical he thinks Hogarth is a secret mason, in part, because she is openly atheist, and the masons, as far as I know, do require belief in a supreme being as a condition of membership.
Not a Mason either, but I know a couple, great people, and yes, can confirm that Colorado has a Co-Mason organization.
I’m also not a Mason BUT… freemasonry has the OES (Order of the Eastern Star) for women as well as DeMolay (boys under 12?) and Job’s Daughters (girls under 12?). My grandfather was a Mason.
I bought and started the Freemasonry book. Like the Book of Mormon it read like ether for the mind and I only made it halfway through. Nothing up to there alarmed, but it felt like a waste of time. When I found out that Germany’s christian NSDAP feared and abhorred Freemasons along with Jehova’s Witnesses and Jews, I chalked that up as almost am endorsement. I am chalking up Martin as another embarrassment, maybe another Jesus Caucus case?

I have strong objections to Freemasonry, but I fail to see why the LNC should take a stance one way or the other. If a Freemason wants to be a Libertarian and seek party office, that’s OK with me. If he’s a good libertarian, then, great. If he’s not, then I’ll vote against him.

No, Objection To the Consideration of the Question may be made prior to the motion being seconded. The Objection itself does not require a second.
