in an attempt to speak on behalf of Region 2. He has, erroneously, claimed that our region representative, Jonathan McGee, has been removed.
I am one of the Public Service Commission District 3 Representatives for @LPGeorgia and I’m here to set the record straight.
Here is the Region 2 agreement: https://mywikis-wiki-media.s3.us-central-1.wasabisys.com/lpedia/Regional_Agreement_R2_2024-2026.pdf
It’s a blurry mess, so here’s a copy that’s been transcribed (and can be checked against that one): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CNpNqVdgmLEsuztIJtTACgyMF7xDYPferLlEJYT3Fd8/edit?usp=sharing
Josiah Baker made the effort to push through an attack on our region late the night of April the 29th, via an illegitimate email ballot. Our region agreement requires signatures from the states’ chairs, as seen in our region agreement. This means that no email ballot is legitimate for removal. It MUST be a signed document, physical or digital.
Josiah’s allegation to the LNC, ignoring the will of the Chairs and members, is that the Chairs may not change their votes once cast.
The problem there is that Alabama’s Chair, Samuel “@samuelbohler” Bohler, had not voted when Josiah declared the motion closed not even a half day later. A ballot does not close until all members have voted or the time on that ballot expires.
In Georgia, we were alerted that our Chair, Gerred “@GerredwithaG” Bell, had put a vote in on this email ballot the morning of the 30th. Immediately, a ballot for our Executive committee was opened to direct the Chair to vote no. That ballot was completed while our Chair ignored it. More on that in a moment.
Josiah, Gerred, and Hector Roos had been working to pull off an illegitimate removal of our region rep before any of the members or ExComms could get wind of it, lying to the Chairs of Mississippi and Florida. In @LP_Florida ‘s case, they worked to have the acting Chair, elected Vice Chair Ed Appling, cast a “yes” vote. Again, a vote that is wholly illegitimate as that vote is not how we can remove reps in our region.
After the situation was explained by the membership, having nothing to do with LNC Chair
@StevenNekhaila, Ed’s vote became a “no.” This was before Josiah’s erroneous claims that Jonathan had been removed were sent to the LNC.
@LPMississippi’s Chair was similarly explained the situation and changed his “yes” vote to an abstention, waiting upon the will of his membership and Executive Committee.
In summary: The ballot had not closed when Josiah sent an erroneously-claimed-closed ballot to the LNC Secretary, Evan McMahon.
The ballot does not meet the standard of signatures, as per our region agreement.
Votes Josiah claimed at the time he erroneously sent the illegitimate ballot to National had already been changed to “no.”
Now, for the situation in LPGeorgia: During the Libertarian Party of Georgia’s February 2026 state convention, delegates passed a resolution that a region agreement must go through the Executive Committee and be voted upon. That motion is attached here.
Gerred has attempted to use the fact that the resolution does not directly speak on the regional rep nor state anything about removal to allege that he has done nothing wrong.
As one of the representatives for the membership that took part in the discussions this resolution came from, and as a member who attended the convention and was part of the discussion AT the convention, it is clear what the members were directing our Executive Committee and our Chair to do and how to behave.
Thereby, the LPGeorgia Executive Committee, led by a motion from LPGeorgia Treasurer Doug “@crazyforliberty” Craig on behalf of the Executive Committee as is his duty as an officer, has voted to suspend Gerred with an impending investigation for removal. That ballot has reached the required 2/3 and closes May 3rd at 5AM ET: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iMdStk0cAkXvxFuIllT-J0amG-QKVCKY8q9OXbGjFQo/edit?gid=1348304593#gid=1348304593
This has been a pattern with Gerred and it stops now.

Josiah is further misrepresenting that situation. McGee was NOT the deciding vote. The vote was 8-6 with Paul Darr who had assumed the gavel abstaining.
Let’s play out scenarios – McGee voting no. It would be 7-7 and Darr would have broken the tie, with it being 8-7. Darr’s feelings on this are known.
McGee abstaining, it would have been 7-6.
This motion would have passed and he should stop carrying water for an embezzler. All of the Mises attempts to white knight for her breaches of duty are pathetic.
And I do find it rich that there is such a complaint against McGee when the Region 1 reps, who are the Mises instigators on the LNC, never consult their region about anything.
So cry me a river, and clean your own room. A convention is coming up and Roos the flim flam man is just being himself and anyone getting caught up with him is a fool.
