New Amicus Filing on Roos Appeal to Judicial Committee

John Ponty has filed an extended, detailed amicus brief with respect to the Roos Appeal to the Judicial Committee over the LNC Special Investigatory Committee report and actions taken with respect to it. The brief claims to demonstrate extensive defects in the original appeal, as detailed in the amicus document.

The brief includes significant supporting documentation that advances its position.

The LNC only need to answer enough to make its case. It is not required to eat every piece of spaghetti thrown at the wall. Rarely does a response touch every fact alleged only what is needed to win in their eyes. The appeal was a Gish Gallop and they were smart not to fall for it.

There was also an amicus brief filed by Mr. Jake Porter, responding to the claims made in Angela McArdle’s PR Sheet that was used as an exhibit in the Roos appeal.

Is there expected to be a new LNC response? Especially in light of Mr. Ponty correctly pointing out that the LNC response did not fully respond to the appeal.

There’s also a motion to rescind the LNC response. If that passes a new LNC response would need to be formulated.
